WORK HOURS

Normal work schedule is: 8:00 am to 5:00 pm with a 1 hour lunch break.

Occasionally, during our busy season, additional hours may be required to meet our business needs.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

  • Responsible for efficient communication, harmonious interaction and support of co-workers and management team members.
  • Contacts or responds to Service and Sales personnel to obtain or provide information and direction.
  • Researches past work orders in BlueCow software and DocStar to resolve problems.
  • Effectively dispatches jobs to Technicians.
  • Schedules work for the Service Technicians in the computer system by using the computer dispatch scheduling. (BlueCow)
  • Continually checks department voice loop, shared department email & Answering Service E-mail.
  • Performs other tasks as assigned by Manager to provide general support to company operations.
  • Reviews log notes daily.
  • Assists in performing the core tasks of other personnel within the department as needed in their absence.
  • Checks daily for Dig Safe requests and schedule line locating as needed.
  • Reviews the Service Schedule a week out & day before for travel issues with technicians. Adjusts schedule as needed.
  • Works pending gas check and equipment check report. Follows up with customers and the Sales Department as needed along with sending the accounts to be closed if no contact from the customers.
  • Pulls report for recommended work weekly and follows up with the customers, technicians, and parts department as needed.
  • Prints work orders for Oil and LP cleanings weekly to be separated and placed in the technicians’ mailboxes.
  • Reviews & schedules install of special-order part immediately upon notification.
  • Assists in communicating with customers on billing inquires that have to do with Service.
  • Maintains and always promotes company brand guidelines and core values.
  • Communicates with the delivery team for emergency equipment and gas checks scheduled for that day.

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES This job has no supervisory responsibilities.

SAFETY Working safely is a condition of employment. Employees shall verbally report and photograph all crashes / injuries to their Manager immediately. If your manager is not available, report the crash / injury to the Safety Director another Manager, or Human Resource Manager.

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE Associate’s Degree (A. A.) or equivalent from a two-year college or technical school; or at least three years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

LANGUAGE SKILLS Must speak fluent English. Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence. Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of organization.

COMPUTER SKILLS Must be able to navigate around Windows and know Microsoft Word – (Excel a plus). Ability to quickly learn our computer software. Typing skills of 40 WPM.

MATHEMATICAL SKILLS Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, percentages, area, circumference, and volume. Ability to apply concepts of basic algebra and geometry.

REASONING ABILITY Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.Must be able to respond to emergencies quickly and efficiently.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk or hear. The employee frequently is required to stand, walk, and sit. The employee is occasionally required to reach with hands and arms. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 20 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus.

Pay: $17.00 – $23.00 per hour
