In-House Sales Representative Job at Sartorius Stedim Biotech in Melbourne VIC

Job Description

The InHouse Sales will be responsible to remotely sale the assigned product portfolio in its territory to its assigned customer base. He will not visit the customers but will use all remote tools developed in the company to follow the complete sales process.

Main Tasks



Active follow up and build strong customer relationships to maintain and expand accounts

Request for Information (RFI) / Request for Quotation (RFQ) Administration

Quotation Preparation | Preparation and execution of standard and non-standard quotes e.g. SAP, CRM or

configurator quotes based on the information sales provide

Tender Management | To identify new tenders and complete tenders with the supervision of the Tender

Manager/Sales Manager if needed

Literature & Sampling administration

Lead Management | Qualification, data entry in CRM and delegation of leads from all sources

Coordination and tracking of questionnaires

Price List Maintenance | Correct implementation of customer specific/dealer price list.

Sales Reporting (if no delegated reporting team will be available)

Create reports to support the Sales Management and Sales Force e.g. BW

Support of Marketing Activities | Promotion activities within SAP

Creation of Customer Master Data | Maintenance of Customer Main Activities (MDG BP Project is running)

Demo Handling | Organization and scheduling delivery and return of demo equipment

and provide necessary documentation

Special Projects | e.g. MDG, SAMBA, Sales Force, Territory Changes, process optimization and Trainings etc.

Special feature for (Export) Sales Support | e.g. Specific Document-Management like Consulate, Visa process, product approvals etc.,

Organization of meetings and customer visits

Requirements

Bachelor degree or with 1-2 years relevant experience in biochemistry, biotechnology or pharmaceutical industry

Excellent communication and negotiation skills, especially by phone

A previous experience in sales or customers management (negotiation)

Self-motivated, results oriented, capacity to work independently with a strong sense of responsibility

Good teamwork skills and proven ability to work with cross-functional teams

Fluent oral and written communication in English

PC Literate, knowledge of remote systems
