Job Description

In this position, you will recommend, plan, install, troubleshoot and maintain off-the-shelf windows based client/server and web based systems that support a variety of cross-functional agency applications and databases. Additionally, you will assist the clinical and administrative support teams with ancillary projects and interfaces, and supports infrastructure related to the Long Term Care Electronic Health Record. This job requires extensive knowledge of Windows Server Administration as well as a good foundation in database, client/server, and web based system administration.



You will provide Windows Server Administration to support the availability and use of off-the-shelf client/server software packages, including RxConnect, CE2000, QS1, SPSS, Computrition, Report2Web, MyUnity, etc. Provide Technical System Administration for MS SQL Server in support of clinical and administrative applications.

You will assists and supports Inpatient Applications Support Team with ancillary software products and core functionality in Avatar and MyUnity.

You will assist and supports administrative support team with Kronos, SCEIS and ancillary interfaces as needed.

You will act as a vendor liaison, prepare documentation, procedures, training, and provide how-to assistance for end users of imaging, outcomes, and other supported client/server and web based applications.

You will omplete special projects and attend meetings as required.

State Requirments: A high school diploma and experience in computer system development and modification. A bachelor’s degree in a related area may be substituted for the required work experience.

In this position, you must have knowledge of computer system analysis, design, testing, debugging and maintenance techniques and practices. Extensive knowledge of Windows Operating Systems, Windows Server Administration, and SQL Server administration. Ability to install, maintain, and troubleshoot software running on Windows Servers. Ability to work effectively with users, vendors and staff members. Good communication and organizational skills are required.
