Software Sales Representative (f/m/d)

Internet of Things & Augmented Reality solutions

Located in Italy, ideally in Milano, Torino or Bologna


PTC is looking for talented, enthusiastic, and career-minded individuals to join our sales organization where you will have the opportunity work with the acknowledged leader in the incredibly dynamic Internet of Things (IoT) and AR space. Our current customer base includes a growing number of companies in a range of industries. We are looking for motivated sales professionals to work in these market segments which would include any manufacturer/end users looking to embrace IoT or AR technologies for their respective markets through a connected application offering. Many of the world’s largest manufacturing companies are entering this fast paced IoT space to create new revenue streams and offer greater visibility to how their specific products “live” in the real world. The sales team will require the skillset to translate the IoT value proposition into real-world business value.

Your Impact

From a selected list of prospect accounts and customers, you will propose and sell the award-winning PTC IoT and AR technologies (with a focus on Manufacturing companies)

Develop business with new clients in your region

Directly contribute to PTC sales success and revenue generation

Ensure commitment of PTC virtual teams taking part to sales processes

Your Day-To-Day

Your motivation is to open doors and make things possible

Your responsibility is to manage complex sales cycles

Your drive is to convince prospects and customers about the value of our solutions

You develop account strategies and territory business plans to apply efficient sales plays

You identify, promote, and manage technological and sales partnerships

You coordinate internal virtual teams to close complex deals: presales, inside sales, channel sales, customer success management, technical community

Build & manage short and long-term relationships with customers & prospects

Understand and address the customer’s challenges approaching digital initiatives

Your Skills and Knowledge

Sales and business acumen

Well-organized and driven by results

Self-motivation and integrity

Ability to plan and execute effectively to meet business objectives

Ability to convince others, build relationships and influence without authorities

Basic Requirements

Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent

At least 5 years of experience in sales or sales-related roles

Great written and oral communication and listening skills in both Italian and English
