Location: Newtown Square, PA

Purpose and Objective: SAP America, Inc. seeks an IT Technology Consultant for our office location in Newtown Square, PA to provide systems, applications, products and services analysis and development to optimize/automate business processes, improve work efficiency, and provide the expert support in operations.

Expectations and Tasks: Revise and update existing programs and provide required documentation. Facilitate the service lifecycle and product lifecycle. For Delivery, act as a technology expert to execute technical feasibility studies / solution reviews define / review technical blueprint for internal IT projects. Customize and develop enhancements, implement the solutions, provide technical documentation. For Operation, act as a cross functional technology expert to: Execute and support problem management and continuous improvement, participate in de-escalation activities, contribute to the Build to Run engagement, contribute to the definition of technical standards and frameworks. Perform business process design, requirements gathering, and Fit/Gap analysis in the area of SAP FI, SD, SAP Revenue Accounting & Reporting. Perform solution design and implementation in ABAP programming language, in the area of SAP Finance, Sales & Distribution and SAP Revenue Accounting & Reporting. Perform customizing in Revenue Accounting module and execute revenue data migration into RAR. 10% travel required.

Education and Qualifications/Skills and Competencies: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Systems, or a related field of study and 5 years of experience is required. The company will also accept a Master’s degree and 3 years of experience.

Work Experience: Experience must include 3 years in the following: Perform business process design, requirements gathering, and Fit/Gap analysis in the area of SAP FI, SD, SAP Revenue Accounting & Reporting; Perform solution design and implementation in ABAP programming language in the area of SAP Finance, Sales & Distribution and SAP Revenue Accounting & Reporting; Revenue Accounting & Reporting (RAR) include customizing of the Revenue Accounting module; implementing the module, carrying out revenue data migration; IFRS15 Accounting principle and know-how of achieving IFRS15 compliance using RAR; Conduct development of Revenue Accounting reports and functionalities using ABAP Programs/ Methods; Define custom requirements of recognizing revenue for new products sold by SAP and implementing it using ABAP; Development skills in SAP Fiori/CDS views to be able to work on App development for Revenue Accounting; and SAP UI5 development skills in SAP cloud platform and app deployment experience using Eclipse, GitHub and Honeycomb tools. 10% travel required.
