As a Junior Airborne Survey Operator you are part of our Remote Sensing and Mapping Service Line within our Land Asset Integrity group. In this role you enable the preparation, set-up, testing and maintenance of tools and equipment used to acquire geo-data. You operate relevant systems safely, effectively and within scope of time and quality. Operations may include classic land surveying, dimension control, laser scanning, mobile mapping, ground investigation (to enable CPT and drilling) and monitoring. Field work and office duties are both part of this varied position.

Your role

You perform system installations of various airborne LiDAR and photogrammetric sensors;

You perform flight planning for various sensors and ensure data acquired onboard survey aircrafts meets project specifications and is captured within planned flight and survey tolerances;

You ensure, in collaboration with the Survey Pilot, flight lines are flown in the most efficient pattern, minimizing offline survey time;

You perform basic field QC of data to ensure data integrity and conformance to project specifications;

You provide input to the Technical Manager to ensure all system related issues are documented and resolved, all airborne operating procedures remain up to date and on the enhancement of procedures or systems;

You assist in sensor maintenance and repair and you assist in office tasks e.g.: system maintenance, process flows, data processing.

Your track record

You have a mbo degree in Geodetics/Land Surveying or related Geospatial studies or Electrical Engineering;

You have experience in surveying, aeronautical industry or electrical engineering field;

You have a strong interest in flying helicopters and/or aircrafts;

You are able to work in Europe and in the EMEA region when required;

You have good communication and fluent language skills in English (written and spoken);

You are willing to participate in a comprehensive training as part of the induction process.
