ZZ-02Reporting to the Director, Cyber, Fraud and IT Risk Management, you will be responsible for implementing scenario analysis methodologies for Desjardins Group’s specialized risks, deploying them in Desjardins Group units and providing content for the quarterly disclosure to the Board of Directors and senior management. These analyses must meet Desjardins Group’s needs, adhere to industry practices and be consistent with regulators’ expectations.
You will conduct and coordinate numerous daily analyses simultaneously, with the support of several specialized teams, in order to produce scenario analyses to assist Desjardins Group bodies in their decision-making. You will forward and follow up on all conclusions and recommendations. You will ensure that the services delivered are in line with Desjardins Group’s risk appetite framework and with the needs of Desjardins Group’s business sectors and support functions. You will therefore serve as a key partner for the specialized risk sectors and, through your actions, help identify and anticipate risks (evolving or new risks).Addtitional responsibilites
Help establish Desjardins Group’s risk management framework.
Manage relationships with internal and external parties.
Work with the Desjardins Group Operational Risk Scenario Administrative Department to design, implement and update scenario analysis approaches for specialized risks and align them with Desjardins Group’s risk appetite framework.
Ensure that the management of specialized risks is in line with business priorities and sufficiently supports Desjardins Group’s targets and objectives.
Help develop a strategic perspective of specialized risks to ensure the consistency and development of the strategic IT plan, the obsolescence plan, backup applications, IT foundations, architecture plan validation, the digital transformation, the modernization of architecture and environments, investment suitability and consistency, etc.
Help design methodologies for updating the risk profile for specialized risks and produce the required reports to support the decision-making of Desjardins Group bodies and business units.
Participate in strategic risk analysis.
Proactively manage risks, and identify new and evolving risks.
Develop strategic and operational models for providing data for risk monitoring indicators.
Support the direct supervisor by assisting with work organization and operational and strategic planning of unit activities.
Develop, implement and track the unit’s action plan, ensuring alignment with the organization’s strategic orientations and other administrative units, in a performance management context.
Apply management and communication practices encouraging change management, talent attraction and retention, skills development, engagement and diversity, consistent with the organization’s values.
