Our team produces membranes for use in ultra-high purity semiconductor applications. The Manufacturing Engineer is responsible for supporting all aspects of our leading-edge Membrane Manufacturing. You will work closely with the production team; driving continuous improvement initiatives to increase yields and efficiency as well as ensure quality and safety are built into the process at each step.
In this role you will
Apply manufacturing best practices to drive reliability and predictability into everything we do
Scope, procure and commission capital equipment
Candidate will develop, lead and implement projects which improve operational efficiency and deliver savings which support corporate objectives, such as; on-time delivery, productivity, scrap reduction, etc.
Support the development of lean manufacturing processes, continuous improvement, standard work, problem solving, value stream mapping, training, and employee involvement
Improve maturity of process data and apply statistical methods to develop a deeper understanding of our process with the goal of achieving higher yields and efficiency
Help transition new products from R&D to Pilot and HVM following stage/gate process

Motivated and self-directed team player with good interpersonal skills.
Must have ability to reach out, communicate and influence personnel at all levels within the organization.
Minimally a bachelor’s degree in related technical discipline; i.e Metallurgy, Polymer Extrusion, Mechanical or Chemical Engineering.
Minimally 5-7 years of experience in manufacturing with demonstrated success in yield improvement and rework/waste reduction.
Experience scoping, procuring and commissioning capital equipment
Ability to interpret data and apply statistical methodologies to drive improvements and implement SPC (Minitab, JMP or Camline software experience a plus)
Experience in implementing Lean systems at the plant level (Lean or Six Sigma Training and/or Certification a plus)
Experience with SCADA, PLC’s, HMI’s and process automation; as well as the ability to read, understand and generate P&ID’s.
Solidworks, fixture design, fabrication and assembly a plus
Strong SAP skills a plus
