Our Irish story so far….

Opening our doors in September 2018 our first store in Blanchardstown exploded into the Irish market! It was so successful that we now want to expand that success and spread more joy across Ireland not just with retail shops and supermarkets but creating an online presence and Naas is our next stop!

Naas Factory will be our first site to produce and deliver our awesome fresh doughnuts with our own fleet and we need your expertise to be our new brand ambassadors to lead the way.

This role will be based in Blanchardstown first for induction and training then you will continue your career journey and your base will be in Naas.

Your new role:
As our new Manufacturing Manager, you will play a key role to this production unit being successful. You will be responsible for leading product quality and quantity, maintenance and factory performance supporting the General Manager. This exciting role will see you demonstrate your expertise in building high performing teams and show your hunger for making sure the Krispy Kreme brand is delivered out to our stores, 3rd party partners and online with the highest product quality and standards you feel so passionate about.

Key Responsibilities:
People

Ensure appropriate staffing levels at all times and that all employees are recruited, inducted and trained in line with company expectations.

Using succession plans, focus on internal development of the existing team to support optimal team skill and headcount.

Create development plans for all members of your team.

Quality & Product:
Acts as an ambassador of product quality ensuring it meets or exceeds customer expectations at all times, consistently delivering awesome doughnuts and customer joy.

Deliver high quality product on-time, in full every day, proactively preparing for seasonal demands.

Achieve product margin targets without compromising product quality and employee engagement. Ensures product Specifications are met and recipe management systems followed.

Effective machines and equipment maintenance, including inventory management, to ensure all equipment is in full operational order to fulfil current production and future need.

Ensures full traceability of products through thorough documentation.

Running an Awesome Shift:
Deliver team briefs & de-briefs, communicating targets to the team & providing updates regularly to the Lead Manufacturing Manager

Closely manage key P&L lines such as labour and cost of goods, making adjustments throughout the shift. Using action plans, close the gap on any variances to budget without compromising the brand, customer experience, product quality or employee engagement.

Work within company initiatives that improve factory efficiency and profitability.

Ensure compliance to company policy & legislation.

Compliance:
Ensure a safe working environment for the welfare of manufacturing colleagues, contractors and visitors.

Promote and ensures compliance with the Company’s Food Safety and Quality processes, including HACCP.

Ensure the manufacturing team has a full understanding of the health & safety and environmental regulations (including fire safety), contributing towards completing all the H&S processes including COSHH, risk assessments, accident investigations etc.

Confirm all compliance related documentation is fully and accurately completed.

Ensure that systems and processes in the factory store/commissary are carried out in line with company and legislative requirements.

Using the compliance audit reports, actively work through improvement plans.

Your previous experience leading a team within food production will put you in a fantastic position to drive our culture and put the people at the heart of decisions.

  • Previous experience working in a food factory environment
  • Strong people management skills
  • A balanced people v commercial business approach
  • Experience of organising multiple tasks in a fast paced environment
  • Self-driven and goal orientated
  • Good written and verbal communication skills (internally and externally)
  • High level of reporting and writing skills
  • Very high attention to detail and methodical approach to tasks
