Rebound is the largest orthopedic and neurosurgical practice in the Portland-Vancouver area with an array of sub-specialties including orthopedics, brain and spine care, sports injuries, physiatry, and physical therapy. We are proud to be the team physicians for the Portland Trail Blazers, the Portland Winterhawks and several collegiate teams. We are looking for full-time and part-time Registration Representatives for our Rose Quarter clinic location. The successful candidate will have excellent interpersonal, communication, problem solving, and decision making skills; Ability to work with a great deal of accuracy and attention to detail; Organizational and office skills, including data entry; Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with patients, employees, and the public. Strong attendance history and the ability to work independently is a must.

Responsibilities: :
Check in patients
Assisting and greeting patients and visitors of Rebound in a friendly and timely manner.
Facilitates information collection as needed through verbal or the use of forms
Confirms insurance and demographic information
Explain financial policies, privacy practices and the differences with contracted vs. non-contracted insurance companies.
Taking co-pays.
Performs other duties that may be required.
Project work as needed to fill downtime
Required:
High school diploma or equivalent.
One to two years’ customer service experience, medical experience preferred.
Medical terminology desirable.
Knowledge of healthcare insurances, payers, benefits and contracts preferred
Excellent customer service skills, organizational skills, and attention to detail.
Ability to work effectively with patients and co-workers.
