headspace Centres act as a one-stop-shop for young people who need help with mental health, physical health, alcohol and other drugs and/or work and study support.
Based in Hurstville
Full-time & Permanent (potential to consider 0.8FTE)
Paying on HPSS SSE Award Level 8/9 (dependent on experience) plus Super
Salary Packaging options (up to $15,899 tax free!!)

Acts as the central point of communication and provides a superior level of secretarial and reception services to young people, clinical and management headspace staff.
Medical Reception duties including taking incoming calls and directing the caller to the appropriate member of staff
Appointment scheduling and maintenance of clients
General Office duties including opening and distribution of mail typing, scanning, filing and archiving
Assist in the closing and securing of the building at the end of the day.
Typing of Medical letters to members of the clinical team
Ideally minimum of Cert III in Business Administration (Medical) or Health Administration
At least 2 years experience in a similar medical receptionist role
Excellent administration, time management and organisational skills with attention to detail.
Knowledge of the health /NFP sector with an ability to liaise with people from diverse backgrounds
Proven record in working closely with and being a successful member of a multidisciplinary team
Demonstrated communication, interpersonal, problem solving and organisational skills
Well-developed customer service skills
Ability to think and act calmly and deal sensitively with distressed people.
Proficient Microsoft Office skills
Understanding of duty of care, rights to privacy and confidentiality
Must have good availability
A current unencumbered driver’s licence
