Serving guests at the Front Desk & AYS while providing the highest level of service possible in an efficient, courteous and professional manner by following Marriott standards of aggressive hospitality and adhering to guidelines and procedures.
The Front Office team is looking for a motivated and responsible addition to their team. A positive attitude and good previous track record are essential, as is previous experience of delivering high quality guest service. An ability to communicate clearly face to face and over the telephone is essential. Also required is a satisfactory level of computer literacy.

What we’re looking for
Ability to deal with the public in a professional and courteous manner.
Ability to communicate with all managers and supervisors and fellow associates.
Knowledge of English and local language.
Ability to handle conflict situations in a professional manner.
What you’ll do
Warmly greet all guests with a smile and by name. Be proactive to anticipate guests needs and deliver brilliant service
Be knowledgeable about the Marriott Bonvoy program and its member benefits
Be knowledgeable about daily hotel operations, check daily event sheet, bulletin boards and be up to date with all changes, new procedures and events.
Get a daily briefing about extra ordinary events to effectively deal with all foreseen situations on a daily basis.
Have knowledge about room rates, packages, discounts and promotions and know how to handle each.
Have knowledge about guest rooms, locations, amenities, features and all other services offered by the hotel.
Knows how to operate Opera, Marsha, GXP Empower, Control Panel, Mobility, PDQs and AYS console (Jazz)
Perform guest registration and room assignment and accommodate special requests of all customers.
Follow the check in and check out procedure according to the hotel’s SOP and Marriott’s BSA (Brand Standard Audit)
Bank out at the end of the shift by following the blind drop procedures strictly. The front desk manager will always verify the shift closing and enter the drop in the system
Assists with any e-mails sent to the AYS inbox, handle mail and messages properly and on a confidential basis
Answer the phones according to the standards of proper etiquette and as fast as possible (no more than three rings).
Answer, record, and process all guest requests, questions, or concerns via telephone, email, and Mobile Chat
