What will I be doing?
As an Operations Specialist your focus is on facilitating automated or manual trade execution, cash- and securities transfers as well as transaction and position reconciliation and reporting. Furthermore, you also encompass to maintain a control framework and to ensure adherence to workflow processes agreed with client facing businesses and business partners. Priority is placed on continuous business process analysis to adapt quickly to a changing environment and client or regulatory requirements.
To plan, execute and monitor Equatex’s operational and administrative processes within the Global Operations Team. The operations services and activities include but are not limited to:
Share Transfer Investigation
Manual Transaction Processing Cash and Securities incl. Funding
Automated Processing carried out with EquatePlus-System
Transaction and Account Reconciliation
What are we looking for?
Someone who has excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to handle high volume in a fast-paced environment. Besides you need to be well-organised and be a self-starter with a high energy level as well as work effectively as a team player.
Commercial apprenticeship diploma or equivalent
2 to 3 years working experience in Banking Operations or similar function
Critical thinking and problem solving skills, maintains strong focus on timelines and detail oriented
Very good written and verbal communication skills (German and English)
Proficient in Microsoft Excel, SQL Experience preferred but not required
Profound knowledge of Equatex’s (EquatePlus system) processes end to end (would be a great asset)
