About the role

An exciting opportunity to lead the hands-on delivery of technology and digital systems as part of the construction of Council’s 5 Parramatta Square building and the Parramatta Square precinct.

Work integrally with key stakeholders to deliver on the vision for Parramatta Square’s jewel in the crown – 5 Parramatta Square

Bring your significant experience in the delivery of technology solutions as part of large infrastructure building projects to lead the delivery of our technology pipeline for 5 Parramatta Square and the Parramatta Square Precinct

Exercise your passion for innovation to enable technology and digital solutions that create an outstanding experience for our city users

Influence the technology decisions that will underpin other infrastructure building projects

Exercise your change management skills to deliver an outstanding city user experience ensuring new technologies are seamlessly integrated into Council’s Parramatta Square operating model

We’re looking for the right candidate to be our Parramatta Square Precinct Technology Delivery Lead to expertly design, plan and deliver a technology program which ensures we deliver technology and services that provide a seamless, integrated and enjoyable city user experience.

This is an amazing opportunity to really make a difference through developing a program delivery plan and leading project delivery to ensure the critical technology components of 5 Parramatta Square are planned, procured, implemented and delivered on time and in sync with the construction effort.

About the person

You are building technology delivery expert and your skillset is demonstrated through the successful hands-on delivery of technology programs and projects that underpinned large infrastructure building projects. You can demonstrate your experience through recognition of achievement and you will have strong references to support these outcomes.

You are an excellent communicator with ability to build and maintain relationships across organisations, business functions and teams. You have excellent business acumen, sound business analysis skills and strong project management rigour. You are also pragmatic in your approach, knowing how much is ‘enough’.

You use your passion for User Experience (UX) and/or Customer Experience (CX) to ensure that new technology is integrated into organisational operating models. How to make configuration changes, support, maintain and replace the enabling technology is all known and understood by the business as part of its BAU operating model.

You work at a senior level by thinking strategically to align solutions and plans whilst delivering tactical and tangible results with agility. You will have a high level of personal motivation and initiative and will be a natural collaborator.

You are the type of person who is always inspiring colleagues and striving to improve and lift your own capability. Your natural curiosity sees you thinking outside the box to foster new ideas, stimulate creativity and share your passion.

What’s on offer

This is a 2-year full-time temporary contract role with an attractive salary of up to $147,205.03 p.a. pro-rata (depending on candidate suitability and experience) plus Super. The City of Parramatta Council also offers excellent employee benefits which can be accessed by the successful candidate.
