Clinic hours are Monday – Friday 7AM – 7PM; Saturday and Sunday 9AM-3PM
Job Purpose:To facilitate the flow of the office by acting as a liaison between the physicians and patients by working directly with the provider to deliver high quality, compassionate customer service and clinical care.
Qualifications
1-2 years of Medical, Administrative
High School Diploma or Equivalent, required
Associates Degree, preferred
Medical and/or Administrative Certifications, preferred

Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Maintains confidentiality of patient information as regard to HIPAA laws
Performs any administrative duties as requested by the provider
Cover for employees’ while they take lunch and breaks
Displays excellent verbal and written communication skills
Administrative
Meeting/Greeting/Assisting patients promptly, efficiently, and in a professional manner
Responsible for obtaining, verifying, and inputting all information accurately in the system
Answer telephones and LiveChats promptly for general questions and scheduling
Take and check messages and relay messages to the appropriate staff members
Responsible for checking patients in and out of the system
Scheduling patients for appointments, reschedule appointments, blocking schedules, as well as coordinating walk-in patients according to office protocols
Set up new patients and updating patients’ accounts by compiling accurate information and required paperwork
Explain fees, services, and policies
Responsible for collecting co-payments, deductibles, and co-insurances
Balancing the cash register and ensure all credit card payments are accurate at the end of each day
Relay important messages the providers have sent in response to patients’ requests
Maintain the front desk and reception area in an organized, orderly fashion
Post patient payments into the system
Mail letters and make monthly and weekly calls as appropriate
Process all referrals for our patients including providing complete and accurate referral information to the patient sending the required information to the specialist and insurance company
Create telephone encounters and appropriately escalate by forwarding messages to providers or medical assistants
