As we continue on our transformation journey to become a bold and inclusive digital bank, there is a requirement to support to our people to deliver on our key strategic priorities as we re-imagine banking!

A number of HR Business Partner roles currently exist to join BOQ’s People and Culture team based in both Brisbane and Sydney. These roles will be aligned to specific portfolios supporting our Retail and Business Banking teams along with our operations, corporate functions and technology divisions. Both permanent full time, part time and maximum term contracts are available.

Reporting to the Heads of People, these appointments will execute and embed the programs, processes and policies to support the delivery of the organisational, divisional and People and Culture strategies. This is an opportunity to work across and gain exposure to diversity and inclusion, culture, leadership, capability and change initiatives.

Accountabilities will include:
Coaching and influencing business leaders around people issues including culture, capability, organisational design and structures along with programs and processes to support the successful implementation of people strategies

Engaging with the Centres of Excellence for the implementation of the strategy, goals and outcomes desired

Liaising with the business on structural and/or position changes with the support of the Heads of People and Culture.

Partnering with our Centres of Excellence to design and deliver HR programs

Advocating for People and Culture and driving a self-service approach

Utilising data and insights to support and influence solutions and strategies

Adopting and embedding a strategic focus and commitment to health, safety and well-being

About you?

To be successful in this role you will have the following skills and experience:

Demonstrated experience in a partnering role supporting stakeholders within a complex organisation

Prior experience operationalising People and Culture strategies (experience may sit within an Operational, Employment Relations, Talent or generalist HR/Business Partner role)

Self-starter and the demonstrated ability to work successfully in a fast paced environment

Strong analytical, problem solving and commercial skills

The ability to build relationships and effectively influence senior stakeholders.
