Job Description

The Placement Administrator is accountable for providing high level administrative, customer service and operational support to the Business Area.

This role will focus on providing a high level of administrative advice, professional support and service as well as responsibilities for the Nursing and Allied Health placement team.

Your key accountabilities will be to:
Set up and undertake Victorian Assessment Software System (VASS) reporting requirements

Undertake Short Course administration, including class pack preparation, room and teacher confirmation and associated activities for completion required to awards and certification

Prepare a range of regular and adhoc reports, documentation, papers and submissions

Coordinate meeting support including room booking, preparation, minutes, agendas and document dissemination.

Support Business Area Manager in Talent Management through effective support of staff Recruitment, On-boarding and Performance Management.

Provide support in the use of procurement and reconciliation finance systems including invoicing and purchase orders in line with Finance QMS policies.

Provide timely support to the enrollment process through engagement sessions and ensuring pre-enrolment and enrolment compliance is completed, providing high levels of customer service.

Ensure that fee payments are correct by accurately calculating fees based on enrolment details.


You will have relevant tertiary qualifications or experience in:

Business Administration or experience providing high levels of administrative support to complex and demanding work environments

Crucial to your success will be your strong understanding of administrative duties, ideally in an education environment. A proven track record in using Microsoft Office and various software suites, along with a strong customer focus will see you succeed in this role. You will have the ability to quickly develop rapport with students and colleagues from a diverse background in a collaborative and innovative environment. You will also have a firm understanding of educational administration tools and practices.

To succeed in this role you will need to be able to adapt to changing circumstances while displaying exceptional verbal and written communication skills. You will be result orientated and committed to professional development.
