Procurement Officer Job at KSG Dublin
We currently have an exciting, full-time permanent position available for an enthusiastic and motivated individual based in our Head Office in Finglas, Dublin 11. The successful candidate will support to the wider KSG Catering Group in their role as Procurement Officer.
KSG’s Group Procurement Team bring value to the organisation through best in class sourcing, tender process management and supplier relationship management by adhering to best practice procedures, delivering a quality service, maximising value for money and cost efficiencies.
The Team work closely with all departments but primarily Culinary Operations, Health & Safety, Finance and Operations in successfully achieving the strategic goals of KSG.
Support the Group Procurement Manager in achieving department goals across all categories of expenditure.
Take responsibility for assigned categories and provide incremental savings, superior quality and enhanced service whilst aligning to the group’s wider strategy.
Sourcing of the correct products and services insuring that they are at the best price, quality, quantity and delivered as required.
Play an active role in the management of the group’s tender process.
Manage the group’s supplier management system, supporting the systems administrator and wider group business users.
Monitor and report on supplier SLA’s and their KPI metrics.
Manage and support the group’s supplier complaints process.
Support the new supplier set up process.
Manage supplier marketing plans in conjunction with KSG Marketing.
Effective leadership of procurement related and group projects.
Develop and share market insights.
To undertake any duties assigned by your manager which are consistent with your expertise and skills.
Advanced Microsoft Office skills required.
Strong negotiation skills with a proven history of adding value.
