If you are looking to join a growing FHA Finance team, the below opportunity may be for you. – Assist production team, at the direction of the CPO, in the preliminary loan analysis for FHA Transactions – Prepare and present loan quote sizers/ prescreen and concept package submissions for each property loan request received. – Uses and understanding of the department’s operations and business objectives to proactively assist senior management. – Reviews and prepares miscellaneous reports and documents as required by CPO, often on short notice. – Initiate and maintain deal and client information in Salesforce – Prepare loan applications, financing letters and quote letters – Participate in weekly pipeline and production meetings and be prepared to discuss current status of all active deals in the pipeline – Work with marketing to proactively identify and assemble deal information for use by marketing to prepare press releases – Communicate with borrowers to facilitate collection of required transaction due diligence, as needed – Assist in reviewing third party reports such as appraisals, market studies, engineering reports to identify key areas of strength and potential issues for loan requests, as needed. – Assist producers in marketing, lead generation, and cross-selling initiatives, as needed. – Communicate and problem-solve daily with teammates, clients, vendors, and other stakeholders, often in combination with travel – Other skills related to building a career in production! The education and experience we’re looking for: – Bachelor’s degree required – 1+ years of experience in finance or related field a plus What skills you should have: – Must have a working knowledge of multifamily housing. – GSE/FHA underwriting experience a plus – Exceptional financial and investment analysis skills, oral and written communication skills, and presentation ability – An energetic, efficient and resourceful team player and individual contributor – Must possess extremely strong attention to detail and accuracy of information – Must uphold the highest level of professionalism as well as confidentiality – Strong customer service skills – Strong organization skills; must be able to manage multiple priorities – Ability to accurately and productively handle multiple tasks during time sensitive situations – Expert in Word, Power Point and Excel required – Experience in Salesforce and Box is a plus – Ability to show ownership of your work, take on challenges and acknowledge growth opportunities, and demonstrate patience when learning new processes – Courtesy, respect, and thoughtfulness in teaming with colleagues and other stakeholders Still reading?
