The Soil Association, formed in 1946, is the only UK charity that works across the spectrum of human health, the environment and animal welfare. That’s because we cannot tackle these issues in isolation.
We campaign for change, support farming innovation, serve healthy food in communities, champion and grow the organic market, and protect forests. We couldn’t do any of this without our supporters, partners, donors and dedicated staff. We make a difference in the world where it’s needed the most.
About this opportunity
Are you passionate about positively changing people’s lives through the power of good food? Food for Life Get togethers is a UK-wide programme which will connect different generations and backgrounds through cooking, growing and sharing food, bringing people together to improve their physical and mental wellbeing, tackle loneliness and isolation and build new friendships between people of all ages that strengthens their communities.
The Programme Officer is a key role in Food for Life Get Togethers, facilitating effective connections, organisation and information flows across this multi-partner, multi-faceted programme. If you are a consummate organiser with a keen eye for detail and the ability to juggle multiple tasks in a fast pace environment, then we would love to hear from you.

Considerable project administration and coordination experience
Organised, efficient and able to juggle multiple tasks
Confident IT skills, particularly in relation to virtual meeting technology
