The Society of St James (SSJ) delivers high impact, person-centred, accommodation services to people experiencing homelessness, substance misuse and mental health problems. The people we support are at the heart of everything we do, our main aim and priority is to find people with values, behaviours and attitudes to match our own.

Vacancy details

SSJ wishes to recruit a Project Worker for our North Lane Lodge scheme in Aldershot. This is an innovative project that will be working with people with entrenched histories of homelessness and street drinking. The project aims to reduce harm caused by substance misuse, provide a period of stability, enable service users to engage with other professionals, and access move-on pathways.

Ideal Candidate

We are looking for staff who are willing to contribute to the ongoing development of this project.

You must have experience of working with adults with alcohol and substance misuse problems and challenging and difficult behaviour.

We are looking for someone who can work flexibly to meet the needs of the service, which includes working a rota of early and late shifts, weekends and bank holidays.

Due to the location, a driving licence is essential.
