Rate of Pay: £35k – £40k per annum (Dependent on Experience)

Job Description:
Property is an important part of Lincolnshire Co-op’s work. As well as our trading outlets, we have over 100 residential flats and houses and almost 600 commercial properties including shops, offices and industrial units.

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Property Surveyor to join our busy Property team based at our Head Office in Lincoln. The role will be varied, with duties including liaising with external customers, ensuring properties within our portfolio are checked and maintained on a regular basis, creating and maintaining up-to-date property records and carrying out property inspections. You will also assist in the management of the day to day organisation of property resources, ensuring delivery of the very highest standards in customer care, long term profitability and resilience in the current market.

Candidate Requirements:
It is expected that the successful candidate will have some property experience and an appropriate degree-level qualification. The role would ideally suit someone that has recently qualified with an RICS qualification. You should have an awareness of commercial, residential landlord and tenant law and some knowledge of Health & Safety in relation to property. Experience of commercial property management would be beneficial but not essential. You should be self-motivated and pro-active, with the ability to work productively as part of the team and meet deadlines as required. You must hold a full driving license as some travel will be required to visit sites across our trading area.
