Reporting to the Delivery Manager, the QA is responsible for the definition, execution, and reporting of manual tests of our products. The ideal candidate needs to have a deep understanding of quality standards.
The tasks and duties involved are the following, but are not limited to:
Build & run manual functional, integration, stress, and performance tests.
Work closely with developers to validate new features.
Define & update the test plan with new features developed by the dev team.
Analyse and report the tests results in a clear and timely manner.
Black box testing.
Troubleshoot issues, and define reproducible steps.
Experience & Education
A bachelor in computer science or engineering or any related field.
5+ years of proven experience in QA.
Strong knowledge and experience in SDLC methodologies.
Knowledge of Windows, Jenkins, Docker, and AWS is must.
Strong Knowledge of Python, Atlassian, and Gsuite tools.
Experience with DVCS like Git, Mercurial, and remote sites like Bitbucket and Github.
Knowledge of the following technologies is a must: Windows, Jenkins, Docker, AWS.
Knowledge and experience in the gaming, multimedia and/or web services industry.
Knowledge and experience in DevOps, Continuous Integration, Continuous Delivery, and Continuous deployment.
Ability to demonstrate effective analytical & troubleshooting skills.
Creative problem-solving capabilities.
Demonstrated success autonomously managing complex projects that require input from many stakeholders.
Strong accountabilty and solution-oriented.
Strong written and verbal communication skills in both English and French.
Strong work ethics with a postive attitudes.
Ability to work as a strong team player in a remote team.
