Quality Assurance Technician Job at Henkel – in South Africa
To assist with the daily operational activities within the Quality Assurance department.
To ensure all day to day activities are dealt with in a courteous, accurate & timely manner, adhering to current business standards.
Liaise regularly with other business functions such as Sales, Customer Services and Production to ensure successful completion of customer complaints.
Liaise with all departments on site for completion of related Quality activities.
Timely recording of customer complaints in SAP.
Support continuous improvement initiatives within the Quality department.
Maintain the complaint management system database.
Updating the audits & reviews database.
Assist during 2nd & 3rd party audits preparations (and also performing 1st party audits).
Performing audits as per the audit schedules.
Assist in compiling supplier audit reports, system audit reports.
Assist with Quality Nonconformance’s (investigation and closure).
Responsible for Document Control (new documents and revisions).
Completion of Customer specific documentation.
Involvement in all customer activities to ensure that customer specific requirements are met.
Degree/Diploma in Science or Quality related discipline 4 -5 years experience in a similar role
Use of SAP (mandatory)
Good organisation & time management skills
