We are looking for a Receptionist to join our team who will also serve as an Administrative Assistant and report to the Campus Director.
The Admin Assistant/Receptionist works at the Front Desk of our college campus in Concord and manages all incoming student inquiries and admissions lobby walk in traffic while supporting an online admissions team. This is a customer service position, involving ability to multitask and follow directions. The Front Desk is responsible for answering incoming calls, directing calls to the appropriate individual or department, distributing mail, and serving as the first point of contact for visitors and/or vendors, as well as additional adminstrative duties involving direct support for students. The Front Desk must be able to keep manager-level communications confidential from other co-workers.
Answer a moderate volume of telephone calls using an approved script.
Greet campus visitors courteously, determine their needs and direct them to the appropriate person
Monitor and maintain the campus front lobby to ensure that visitors and/or delivery people are not allowed to roam around unescorted
Receive and post all incoming mail.
Send and receive packages (FedEx, UPS, etc.)
Assist with periodic updating of electronic student records.
Perform other adminstrative duties as assigned, such as providing support for student book and supply issue, making ID cards, organizing RSVPs for Graduation ceremonies, etc.
