We have this rare opportunity within our global regulatory affairs team to contribute to our work on all aspects of regulatory strategies and activities in the UK. Your role will be to provide information, guidance and advice on all regulatory issues to internal stakeholders.

You will be based from our site in Stonehouse (Gloucestershire) or Royston (near Cambridge), with regular national and occasional international travel.

About the position:
Managing the activities of Regulatory Affairs within the field of responsibility ensuring the implementation of appropriate and effective regulatory strategies

Providing expert regulatory input to strategic decision-making

Supporting the development and establishment of policies and standards

Coordinating successful submissions and approval of applications

Planning and overseeing regulatory inspections

Liaising and negotiating with regulatory authorities

Providing advice about regulations to relevant stakeholders

Keep up-to-date with changes in regulatory legislation and guidelines

About you:
A degree in life sciences or equivalent

Strong relevant experience within the Regulatory Affairs discipline

Thorough understanding and demonstrated ability to apply Regulatory guidelines/regulations

Ability to develop innovative strategies and creative solutions within the Regulatory context and within the scope of required sources

Proven analytical skill and scientific competence

Attention to details and ability to appropriately assess risks

Excellent communication skills, with ability to influence others and negotiate successful outcomes

Proactive, quick learner and capable of working independently
