Objective of the Role

Reporting to the Revenue Manager, the Reservations Supervisor will be the first point of contact for our guests. It is of utmost importance that the reservations department present a friendly and professional manner at all times. As a Reservations Supervisor, you will assist in ensuring the smooth and efficient running of the Reservations department ensuring guest’s requests are met at all times for guest’s bookings for bedrooms, dealing with queries and cross selling of our other properties and revenue is maximised.

Key Duties and Responsibilities

Manage Guests reservations, ensuring that their needs and wants are met to the highest standard.

Give details of hotel facilities and pricing information.

Assist in efficiently and effectively controlling reservations departmental operations.

Upsell other areas of the hotel or other properties in the group.

Ensure expectations are set correctly, in advance of the guest’s stay.

Requirements:
1-2 years experience in a similar role with a Reservations System, Opera / Opera Cloud would be an advantage.

Excellent customer care skills.

Excellent command of the English language both written and oral is essential.

Ability to cope well under pressure.

Highly motivated, and a team player.
