Restaurant Manager Job Description

Duties:

· Plan and organize front and back of house work schedules

· Manage training of all restaurant staff

· Delegate responsibilities and tasks to staff

· Undertake hiring and termination functions

· Ensure friendly interactions with customers and provide excellent service

· Help with development and enforcement of a positive restaurant culture

· Establish and maintain a clean and presentable facility

· Verify compliance with sanitation and safety rules and regulations

· Assist in developing safety program for FOH staff

· Contribute to managing food costs by cutting waste by staff

· Utilize restaurant computer software to adjust menu items and prices

· Nurture a positive working environment and lead by example

· Set pace of restaurant by bringing energy and motivation to team

· Maintain a working relationship with other managers and company ownership to guide overall restaurant operations

· Other duties as required

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $40,500.00 – $50,900.00 per year

Education:

• High school or equivalent (Preferred)

Experience:

• Restaurant Experience: 3 years (Required)
• Management: 2 years (Required)

Language:

License/Certification:

• Driver’s License (Required)
