Retail Customer Service (Multiple Positions Available) Job at University of Regina in Regina, SK
The Bookstore is seeking students interested in working at the store on a casual basis. Under the direction of the Bookstore Manager, the incumbents are responsible for typical retail duties and providing customer service to all customers that visit the Bookstore. Typical duties include: assisting with E-commerce, pulling and packing; assisting in shipping/receiving; assisting customers, faculty, and staff with inquiries related to all merchandise available for sale; operation of a POS cash register; stocking and maintaining all types of merchandise sold within the Bookstore; maintain fitting room and performance of other related duties as assigned.
Hours can be scheduled around student class schedules as per the business needs of the store. There is a possibility of additional hours throughout the Winter term, to be determined with students along with the business needs of the store.
Highly motivated individuals with previous experience in the retail industry; experience in cash handling and operation of POS cash registers are an asset; experience and proficiency in the use of a personal computer; ability to organize and prioritize workload; ability to establish and maintain excellent relationships with other staff, students, faculty and external customers; strength and mobility to perform required physical duties.
Could require heavy lifting and working on your feet for extended hours.
Pay Grade CUPE Phase 1 Salary Range $14.97/hr Status Casual Work Hours
Hours will vary as per business needs and class schedule.
Preference based on student availability and business needs.
Hours of operation are generally 8:15 to 4:30, Monday to Friday.
There are some extended evenings and weekends as per University events and needs.
