As a Technology Risk Analyst based in Irvine, you will be a key member of the Technology Governance, Risk and Compliance Team. You are a highly motivated inquisitive technology risk identifier and an analytical problem solver. You enjoy being a technical security analyst who possesses a risk mindset and proficient in controls and risk mitigations. You will be the driver of risk management by partnering closely with key IT stakeholders across the enterprise to improve Capital’s risk posture.

Responsibilities:
Support risk assessments, security-related projects and supports business technology roadmap and strategy

Conduct enterprise-wide security and risk governance processes including the review of policies, standards, controls, exceptions and risk issues

Co-lead regulatory audits with external auditors and IT internal contacts for the preparation and the facilitation of audit procedures for IT general computer controls, SDLC and IT security

Assist in the development and implementation of ServiceNow’s GRC module including requirements identification, process re-designs, testing and end-user adoption

Support risk management continuous improvement initiatives

Develop summaries, reports and key risk metrics to identify vulnerabilities and trends

Demonstrate strong partnership with IT stakeholders by influencing and providing risks and controls expertise

Exemplify strong analytical, critical thinking and problem-solving skills

Provide other functions deemed necessary and applicable by executive leadership

Qualifications:
Minimum of 3+ years of successful experience in security/risk/controls field

Ability to analyze complex information to identify patterns and develop recommendations for future remediation activities

Strong knowledge and experience with IT risks and security controls

Demonstrates strong organization skills and continuously drives for results

Exemplifies critical thinking and problem-solving skills

Excellent written and verbal communication skills to effectively collaborate cross-functionally with peers and senior management

Audit/consulting firm or Big 4 work experience preferred in IT audit and/or enterprise risk management

CISSP, CRISC, CISA, CISM, CIA certifications are preferred
