Sales Representative (New South Wales) Job at Sartorius Stedim Biotech in Remote
Duties and Tasks:
To achieve or exceed agreed business targets within a specified territory by undertaking technical sales activities that identify and meet customer’s needs.
Visit new and existing clients to create and follow-up leads, demonstrate products, prepare quotes, take orders and generally develop and maintain accounts.
Assess and analyze customer needs, respond to customer enquiries and suggest products and services as appropriate.
Work closely with cross functional team to create higher market perception and successful strategies to gain business from an account.
Coordinate and participate in marketing activities in assigned territory.
Frequently assess the potential of each customer and plan to realize it into business.
Manage and build strong customer relationships for long term partnership.
Maintain a high level of product knowledge, competitor products and industry trends.
To analyze major grant funding to key PI’s to determine target customers.
To prepare and submit all required reports/expense claims in a timely manner as advised by the head of sales.
To attend training and meetings as required
Other duties as required
Required Qualifications and Experience:
Masters or Ph.D level in appropriate Life Science discipline.
2-5 years sales experience in a related field. Direct experience in Biopharmaceutical accounts. Understanding of cGMP and pharmaceutical validation processes.
Position to be home office based preferably in Sydney
