The Sales Support Specialist position is responsible for providing administrative support to customers and Inside Sales team to meet established customer service guidelines.

Essential Functions

Enter orders and requisitions into E21 operating system.
Perform Contract Review to ensure customer requirements and fulfillment plans are met.
Coordinate with Sales, Accounting, Operations and Supply Chain teams to monitor shipments and delivery schedules.
Manage backlog and open order reports.
Build and maintain relationships with inside/outside sales team and customers.


Knowledge: Demonstrates the required technical skills and knowledge to perform the essential function of the position.

Customer Focus: Consistently puts the internal/external customer first to meet customer commitments and responds promptly to customer needs

Reliability: Delivers expected results while demonstrating reliability, accountability and dependability and in all aspects of the position

Teamwork: Establishes and maintains effective relationships and works actively to resolve conflicts displaying a positive outlook and pleasant demeanor.

Communication: Communicates clearly and effectively including good listening and effective interpersonal skills.

Supervisory Responsibility


Physical Demands

Strength Guideline: The employee must frequently lift or move up to 10 pounds, occasional lift or move up to 25 pounds and rarely lift or move up to 50 pounds.

Motion Parameters: The employee is frequently required to stand; walk; use hands to finger, handle or feel; and reach with hands and arms. The employee is occasionally required to sit; climb or balance; and stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl.

Vision and Hearing: The employee is required to talk or hear. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate, at times can be high.

Required Education and Experience

High school diploma or GED; or experience in administrative support role for at least two years.

Preferred Education and Experience

Experience supporting sales or marketing staff.

Additional Eligibility Qualifications

Bearing sales experience; Technical sales experience.
