Job Description

The School of Nursing and Midwifery provides a comprehensive range of academic programs to prepare health care professionals for positions in nursing and midwifery. The School has a commitment to developing strong partnerships locally, nationally and internationally through its collaboration with health professions, industry and the broader community in both the teaching and research arenas.

The School Officer (Placements) is a key administrative role responsible for tasks associated with student clinical placements. You will be a contact for students as they prepare for and undertake their placement and will also liaise with nominated industry partners in relation to placements as required. There is a significant data entry component to this role as such, would suit an individual with a very high attention to detail.

A pro-active individual who is a good team player and has high level interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills is desired.

To be successful in this role you will require:
Strong organisational and record keeping skills

Exceptional attention to detail

Strong computer literacy (a working knowledge of SONIA and related placement systems/software would be advantageous but is not essential)

The ability to work under pressure and contend with competing deadlines

You will be a valued team member, providing an efficient and effective high-level administrative service.

Benefits & Remuneration

This full-time position attracts remuneration of $66,813 to $71,161 pa (HEW 4) plus 17% University superannuation contribution.
