Join our team of talented Scientists at the Affinity Water laboratory in Staines, where you’ll support the Inorganic team in monitoring the safety and quality of our drinking water. Affinity Water currently have 3.6 million customers and this number is growing every day – this is a role where you can make a real difference by delivering operational excellence and ensuring our customers recieve the very best when they turn on their tap.
If you’re keen to get involved, an excellent eye for detail and a passion for science is key. In this role, you will use a range of analytical techniques, mainly inorganic techniques, to perform routine and non-routine chemical analysis of water samples in accordance with documented procedures. You’ll also register samples and enter analytical results, whilst ensuring troubleshooting strategies are followed correctly. Most importantly, you’ll be up for a challenge and eager to drive innovation and improvements – we’re always willing to listen to new ideas!
Sound like something you could do?
To be successful in this role, you’ll have a recognised degree in a science-based subject and be keen to put your techincial skills and knowledge into practise. You’ll have a great work ethic and common-sense approach to problem solving, and take a fast-paced working day in your stride.
