Job Purpose (Job Summary):
Engineer security solutions that support Invesco Global Security strategy and vision. To assist teams, maintain and enforce conformity with technical standards, security requirements as well as addressing regulatory compliance related issues. As a security engineer, the individual will be a member of the Global Information Security team ensuring that Invesco’s landscape is secure.
Key Responsibilities / Duties:
Experience in implementation of various security technologies inclusive of DLP, Endpoint Protection, Next-Generation Firewalls, SIEM platforms
Support Projects, tactical initiatives and provide hands on implementation of various technologies & processes
Defining technical requirement related to DMZ, firewall, interaction with other software in deployment, inter-component communication, Data security at-rest and in–transit
Support solutions according to NIST framework and platforms being CIS complaint
Ensure adequate metrics and documentation of on projects
Provide appropriate maintenance to responsible security devices (patches, upgrades, enhancements)
Provide periodic updates, timelines and delivery of various projects assigned
Think and act strategically. Evaluate and implement security solutions to meet business needs
Research, design and support security products that will support security requirements
Investigate, document, and report on information security issues and emerging trends.
Other duties as assigned.
2+ years’ experience in IT Security with exposure on various Infrastructure security verticals
Experience deploying Security Technologies inclusive of Network, Server, Endpoint, Cloud platforms
Hands on experience in performing configuration scans
Knowledge of various security methodologies and processes, and technical security solutions Symantec DLP, (Palo Alto Firewalls, Qradar/Splunk SIEM, endpoint protection)
Knowledge of TCP/IP Protocols, network analysis, and network/security applications.
Requires strong knowledge of Windows administration, Active Directory, domain structures, user authentication and GPO implementation.
Knowledge of or experience with industry compliance standards such as PCI-DSS, HIPPA, NIST, ISO, ITIL, SOC1/2, etc.
Knowledge of common Internet protocols and applications
Willingness to travel both domestically and internationally. Frequency and duration to be determined by manager.

Formal Education:(minimum requirement to perform job duties)
Bachelor’s degree in computer science/information systems or related field or equivalent demonstrated experience.
License/Registration/Certification:(minimum requirement to perform job duties)
Vendor Certifications from Cisco/Palo Alto/IBM/Symantec/Cylance/McAfee preferred
SANS/CompTIA/ISC2 certification desired
