Job Description

The Human Resources Service Centre (HRSC) encompasses a range of functions to enable the University to effectively achieve its strategic priorities, manage and develop its workforce and minimise risk to its operations and ensure organisational sustainability.



The Senior Centre Officer contributes to the day-to-day running of the HRSC through the timely and effective delivery of high-level, confidential administrative and financial management support and co-ordination to the Director and other HR staff.

As the first point of contact primarily for the HRSC, the successful candidate will be required to build and maintain relationships across the University, naturally adapt to the styles of others and demonstrates a high level of organisation and confidentiality. Directly supporting the Director, HRSC, the Senior Centre Officer is an administrative expert, is financially literate and takes the lead in co-ordinating, drafting and distributing internal communications for the Centre.

Candidates with previous experience in a HR focussed or HR Administrative role will be highly regarded.

Benefits & Remuneration

This full time, ongoing position attracts remuneration of $72,103 to $80,122 (HEW 5) plus 17% university superannuation contribution.
