Job_Description Intel is seeking a highly qualified candidate to join our Team! Be a part of the Data Platform Group’s Business Innovation Office as we build new $1B+ businesses for Intel. Our organization combines the agility of startups with the resources and partnerships of a global enterprise to move quickly in strategic sectors with novel products, services, and business models. We are currently incubating a business around a new paradigm for protecting data privacy and confidentiality while maintaining the ability to gain insights from data. We are seeking a technology leader to build and execute Intel’s technology and product roadmap for privacy-enhanced computing and analytics, with a focus on cryptographic methods such as homomorphic encryption and multiparty computation, across Intel’s entire portfolio, including CPU, accelerators, and storage. In the role of Senior Director, Private AI and Analytics, your responsibilities will include: * Provide and communicate a long-term vision for privacy enhancing technologies inside and outside the company. Build global mindshare for Intel around privacy and AI. * Identify and anticipate key trends and inflection points in AI, privacy technologies and regulations, standards, post-quantum cryptography, and cloud computing. Develop and execute defensible strategies around critical IP, including hardware and software. * Achieve scale by partnering with internal and external business units and startups. * Define and manage the team to clear business and technology milestones. * Manage multiple stakeholders — business units, R&D, sales and marketing — as the single source of truth for the commercial deployment of privacy-enhancing technologies. Qualifications The ideal candidate must possess the following personality traits: * Ability to thrive in uncharted waters. * Passion for quickly learning new technologies and markets. * Ability to take a disciplined approach to problem solving and be results driven. * Excellent communication skills, ability to synthesize complex issues and present clear choices. * Strong initiative and persistence. * Customer obsession. * Ability to identity and balance the needs of multiple stakeholders. Successful candidate must possess a Bachelor of Science degree in a technical field, over ten years of experience in engineering or scientific leadership, deep knowledge of machine learning and either homomorphic encryption or multi- party computation, with a strong publication record. Candidate must be able to articulate complex topics to either business, technical, or general audiences. Ph.D. preferred. Additional_Qualifications_Include * Industry knowledge of success factors and competitive forces in data science, software, cloud computing, cryptography, security and privacy. * Technical awareness of machine learning and analytics technologies and market trends. * Direct experience in highly regulated industries, such as finance and health-care, or in organizations that handle highly sensitive data (e.g. defense, manufacturing, supply-chain).
