The People Product team is helping to shape the long term experience vision for our most valuable asset, our employees! We are a team of skilled product managers and HR professionals who collaborate with HR functional owners and our Shared Services/G&A partners to prioritize a strategic HR technology roadmap and design and optimize people-centric solutions. We work in lock-step with our Core Tech engineering team to build these experiences and manager our HR tech portfolio which includes a variety of third party and homegrown services including: Workday (Core HCM, Recruiting, Performance & Talent, and Payroll), custom Workday Cloud solutions, Docebo LMS, ServiceNow, iOffice, Qualtrics, among others.
About the role
We are seeking an experienced Senior Manager, People Product to drive the end-to-end vision for our recruiting products, enabling better experiences starting with an approved headcount request and ending with a new hire’s first day. The role will focus on the candidate, recruiter, and hiring manager offerings, partnering closely with Recruiters and Hiring Managers to understand ideal state, and hearing from new hires regarding their experience. This role reports to the Director of People Product and can be located anywhere in the U.S.
Primary responsibilities include:
Collaborate with key partners in recruiting partner to dream up and articulate the strategic product vision for the candidate, recruiter, and hiring manager experience.
Innovate new experiences for a distributed workforce, prioritizing processes that will increase diversity, equity, and belonging in our hiring process.
Collect and analyze quantitative and qualitative data to define opportunity size, and understand root cause of issues, and guide product planning.
Recommend product features / technical improvements that improve Zillow’s recruiting experience and prioritize with key partners via a 3-year Recruiting product roadmap.
Project manage the launch of new features and experience, diving deep to define the problem, draft detailed requirements, plan development springs and user testing plan, and support ongoing releases.
Communicate progress and findings to People Org and Recruiting leaders and other key partners, coordinate via email status updates and as-needed virtual presentations. Handle and call out risks and issues to ensure projects stay on track.
Establish success metrics and ensure performance of recruiting technology solutions is tracked and reported to key partners, prioritizing the following: diversity, time-to-fill, cost-per-hire, etc.
Coordinate with 3P vendors (Smashfly, LinkedIn, etc) & internal application support to drive improvements in our 3P integrations.
This role has been categorized as a Remote position. “Remote” employees do not have a permanent corporate office workplace and, instead, work from a physical location of their choice which must be identified to the Company. Employees may live in any of the 50 US States, with limited exceptions. In certain cases, an employee in a remote-designated job may need to live in a specific region or time zone to support customers or clients as part of their role.
