BASIC STARTING SALARY + OVERTIME – YOU COULD EARN IN EXCESS OF £35-40K PER YEAR.

To be considered for this position it is essential that you have a minimum of 2 years experience in a role as a Service Engineer within the Automatic Gate, Barrier and Access Control industry.

This role requires a full clean Driving License.

Salary:

Excellent salary for the right candidate with “door-to-door” pay and 28 days paid holiday (includes bank holidays).

**Normal working hours are Mon-Fri 8am to 5pm, although occasionally, you may be required to start earlier or finish later and weekend work may be required at times, with overtime paid**

**You would also be added on to our fully paid ‘on-call’ rota and this will require you to be on 24hr standby (telephone support and emergency breakdown attendance) for a 7-day period once every 6-8 weeks**

Country Gates & Barriers specialise in the installation and maintenance of all types of CE approved Perimeter Security solutions, such as Automatic Gates, Barriers, Turnstiles, Fencing, Access Control, CCTV and all other associated Security Products.

Role Summary:

Due to continued expansion, we are looking to appoint a Service Engineer with previous qualified electrical experience in the Automatic Gate, Barrier and Access Control industry to work within our Service Dept. for both commercial and domestic sectors.

The Candidate;

Being a field-based Service Engineer, the ideal candidate will be highly motivated, conscientious, trustworthy and possess the enthusiasm to work effectively both as an individual engineer or as part of a team.

Key skills and responsibilities for the role include:

· Reactive repairs to Automatic Gate, Barrier and Access Control breakdowns.

· Pre-planned maintenance visits.

· Scheduled upgrade & safety upgrade works.

**Previous experience in the Automatic Gate, Barrier and Access Control industry is a pre-requisite when applying for this role**

**Welding experience would also be advantageous, as would a relevant CSCS Card **

This role is for a full-time position and includes the following;

· Company Vehicle (full UK driving license required)

· Android Tablet or I-pad

· Full company uniform and PPE

· Ongoing Training & Management Support

Salary: £25,000.00 to £30,000.00 /year
