We are looking for you to join our Cornwall’s Adult Mental Health Services as we progress with our significant & genuinely exciting transformational change program across Inpatient & Crisis Services and Community Mental Health. We have 3 new Service Manager posts that are an expansion of our developing leadership structure. These posts will enable you to work with all stakeholders to provide the best quality clinical care. You will be responsible for one of 3 distinct areas of care that are intrinsically linked together to ensure seamless care pathways: –

Community Based Mental Health x 2

Inpatient Mental Health x 1

We would value all your professional experiences in both clinical and operational settings to work with us in remodelling our services. We need you to be forward thinking, creative and brave in developing a culture of multi-disciplinary team working across all adult mental health services, that includes our colleagues in the voluntary sector. Working across Mental Health Service you will support the complete transformation and expansion of existing community and inpatient services, to ensure that our nursing & AHP staff have the best experience in delivering high quality patient focused care across all Services.

As the Service manager you will be part of a team of clinical and operation leads that is expected to deliver the effective integrated clinical, operational, and financial performance goals of the services. We are looking for a highly motivated leader to work as part of the senior management team to create the right environment to support the workforce to maximise the potential to deliver a high-quality service. You need to be enthusiastic, innovative and have demonstrated leadership skills. Our services are evolving and therefore experience and proven ability in managing change is a core requirement. You will need to be able to form highly functioning relationships by working in collaboration with mental health, social care and Voluntary and social enterprise services gives us an unparalleled opportunity to lead the development of truly integrated health & care services.

You will also have the opportunity to contribute & influence the delivery of the transformational change programme for the service business unit, particularly through the development and implementation of a transformed Mental Health Service with and the associated integrated multi-professional workforce and leading the multi-professional staff group through significant changes in the service delivery.
