As Site Manager you oversees the overall Welding Consumables business at our site in Partille and is responsible for the achievement of the sales revenue and margin growth of the ITW Welding business in Scandinavia and the Baltics. In the role you have responsibility for the consumables business, including sales, manufacturing, purchasing, HR and quality. You will provide hands-on leadership and execution support to enhance operational and financial performance of the business. The position will require some travels.

Major responsibilities

Directs the preparation and execution of annual plan and long-range plans and budgets based on ITW Welding’s financial goals and growth objectives.

Monitors the market dynamics, oversee and evaluate market approach and adjusts sales strategy.

Supports the business planning process for future development and growth at the site.

Works directly with the company’s 80 customers and develop productive relationships by offering creative and innovative welding solutions.

Provides leadership, coaches and sets standards for performance of the local organization.

Continuously reduces costs, improve service level and reduce operational risk by applying 80/20 methods.

Full revenue and all-in margin responsibility.

Background and skills

University degree or equivalent degree in Engineering or Business Management.

Strong background in operations and/or sales management experience of technical sales to the welding industry or adjacent mechanical engineering industries.

To be successful in the position we see that you have prior experience from some of the following areas; International Welding, construction, oil & Gas industry.

Strong management experience in environments with complex and decentralized processes.

Excellent verbal and written communication skills in Swedish and English.

You are assertive, results-orientated, and at the same time team-orientated and able to motivate and drive teams to achieve greater output and meet targets. You appreciate working in an international environment where you meet and work with people from several different cultures. You are used to working against deadlines and are accurate, structured and responsible. You also feel comfortable making decisions and are solution-oriented in pursuing your work.
