Benefits: 32 days paid annual leave, including public holidays per annum (FTE), remote, flexible working, and TreeSisters operates a discretionary wellness scheme which currently offers six wellness days (FTE) pro-rata per annum.

About the Role

TreeSisters is seeking a passionate and experienced Social Media Manager to manage our social media presence and expand our reach to new audiences. This is an exciting and agile role where no two days will be the same. You will be working with the entire TreeSisters Team to ensure that our mission, case studies, and news reaches the right audience at the right moment across Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, LinkedIn, Pinterest and YouTube.

The successful candidate must be experienced in social media content creation, scheduling and best practice. They should be up to date with the latest social trends and confident recommending new and experimental formats when relevant. The role will require you to work well under pressure, meet deadlines and work across multiple projects with multiple stakeholders.

Core accountabilities of the role

  • Building brand awareness – You will ensure that key messages are consistently used across all social media channels and that all content is on brand. You will provide creative solutions for continuous improvement and shape the future of TreeSisters’ social media presence. Collaborate with teams to promote TreeSisters’ overall vision and mission. Managing and promoting the charity’s exposure. Embody our Organisational values of harmony, respect, integrity, wisdom and courage in all areas.
  • Develop and implement social media content – Take ownership of all TreeSisters social media accounts working with colleagues in the Marketing team to ensure up-to-date content. Create dynamic, interactive, shareable visual and written content, including reels, Canva animations and graphics, audio, video and images to be used across all platforms, including Instagram and Twitter. Work closely with the Education and Income Generation teams to create and deliver a strong communications presence, including blogs, press, podcasts and all social media to build the TreeSisters profile and deliver our charity’s object.
  • Build connections – Create meaningful and impactful content to encourage communication with supporters and followers. Collaborate with the Social Media Strategist and Marketing Manager to design social media strategies to achieve marketing targets unique to each social media channel. Liaise with the Income Generation, Green Cover and Education teams and external industry influencers to build engagement.
  • Accountability and reporting – Keep track of data and analyse the performance of social media campaigns to report on the impact and behaviour change. Reporting on specific objectives and reportable ROI goals. Take ownership of all pay-per-click (PPC) spending across Google Ads and social media platforms.
