We are looking for a Solar PV technology Expert for the Sales, BD and Partnering department , encompassing Solar PV Power Plant and PV-Hybrid applications/solutions and services. As Siemens Energy Generation Division, we offer solutions in Utility-scale Solar PV including system integration and digitalization. To unlock the decarbonization potential for our customers we leverage PV technology from our partner eco-system. In our role as internal Solar PV start-up we are responsible for Strategy, Go-to-market (Sales and BD), Partnering, Engineering, Bid management, Project execution and Lifecycle Management (incl. O&M) in Utility-scale Solar PV.
The successful candidate will be responsible for BD/Partnering for Solar PV power plant & PV-Hybrid applications/solutions & services (Technology expert and EHS & QM (incl. Vendor listing, certifications) for Solar PV power plant & PV-Hybrid applications/solutions & services and will have, as part of such responsibility, to:

What do I need to qualify for this job?
Power plant specific experience, including sales and / or project management, substantial expertise in Solar PV & Well connected in the field of solar business with approximately 3- 5 years working experience.
Sales experience in foreign countries with frequent contacts to customers and international partners.
Experience in generation of proposals, project management of power plant projects in foreign countries; negotiating aptitude with external agencies and customers, consultants, consortium partners.
Knowledge of Risk Management, Quality Management Systems, Product Spectrum, [email protected], LOA guidelines & process, Schedule Planning, Relevant IT-applications, Conflict Management, Customer Relationship Management, Customer Requirements Analysis and Claim Management.
Knowledge of Solar PV Power Plant Technologies, Track-record in Utility-scale Solar PV Power Plants, Design of utility-scale Solar PV Power Plants and PV-Hybrids.
Main Solar PV associations network, Funding / Feed in tariff expert for Solar PV applications Solar PV Power Plant Technologies
Be strong in both written and oral English language to communicate effectively within Siemens organization. Arabic speaking would be a plus but not essential.
Represent SIESun as the primary external Contact; frequent visits to the decision-makers of customers and business partners to cultivate relationships
Establish and maintain good partner relationships with focus on Solar PV Developers and IPPs to ensure a solid and attractive value proposition to customers
Resolute tracking of market development and key projects in SFDC, updating of project list (addition of projects and updating progress data) & co-ordination with other Sales organizations (e.g. for Storage. Hybrid)
Interact, co-ordinate & develop capture teams with a focus on acquisition of Solar PV and Hybrid power plants (Proposals, EN, SCM etc)Analyzing scope of supply and customer contract agreements, carrying out risk analyses, introducing recommendations to prepare for negotiations with Customers and to implement appropriate measures.
Guide Project teams including Commercial organization during project acquisition phase including organizing and leading LOA approvals as required by the guidelines. Act as advisors to Top Management and Business partners on Advanced technical matters
Development of winning strategy for Solar PV projects, get team agreement for the same and implement into proposal process. Critically analyze & resolve complex cross-functional project(s) related problems/ issues
Support resolute application of the marketing sales toolkit to help reduce proposal and implementation costs and minimize risks.
