Clinical Ink is seeking a Sr. Manager, Logistics to join our Logistics team based in Horsham, PA! The ideal candidate will have previous experience that demonstrates a proven understanding of logistics, including supply planning and demand forecasting, combined with exceptional communication and negotiation skills. Additionally, the candidate should have experience with inventory management and creating logistics-related performance metrics. The Sr. Manager, Logistics’ responsibilities include:

Serves as logistics manager for the functional area in supply planning, including demand forecasting

Provides strong leadership and guidance to logistics staff, creating the collaborative teamwork and organizational infrastructure necessary to support company strategies and operations

Manages supply planning and timelines to ensure alignment with study plans/timelines; serves as escalation point for study related logistics issues

Tracks all shipments and communicates any shipping delays

Executes and manages procurement plan and maintains inventory levels for all supported hardware, devices, and equipment to meet customer and internal requirements

Oversees setup and management of inventory tracking; implements proactive solutions to address potential issues with inventory execution; optimizes inventory management and tracking processes

Advises Management of potential shortages and makes recommendations for resupply activities based on usage trends

Accountable for costs, schedule, and technical performance of all logistics efforts

Maintains device/country export requirements database

Identifies and implements supply chain management strategies to reduce lead times, minimize inventory levels, and reduce overall cost

Maintains detailed records, generate reports, and develop presentations to provide Management an understanding of inventory levels by customer/project

Establishes key performance metrics and benchmarks relating to supply chain planning and forecasting

Builds strong relationships within the company and with external parties, such as suppliers or distributors

Collaborates with suppliers to drive process improvement and optimization aligned with organizational goals

Determines resourcing needs for logistics department; trains and supervises the logistics team

Establishes, updates, and maintains all logistics-related forms, processes, and procedures

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration or equivalent required

5+ years of supply chain management experience including materials procurement, production control and planning, inventory management and logistics

Excellent understanding and in-depth knowledge of the entire supply chain management process including purchasing, supply chain and inventory management

Solid strategic sourcing and negotiation skills; proficiency with basic computer software/applications

Exceptional communication, time management and interpersonal skills; highly organized and great attention to detail
