About this opportunity:
The successful candidate will have the opportunity to develop the following skills:

Good written and verbal communication skills
Knowledge in Microsoft Office suite (Word, PowerPoint, Excel)
Knowledge in Google suite
Excellent time management skills
Enrolled in a formal University or college Internship program.
University or College program in progress
Activities:
Collect, consolidate and manipulate data from SAP Business Objects and internal data warehouse applications
Analyze and present large volumes of data in Excel for management decision-making
Perform data maintenance duties in SAP ERP system
Prepare spend reports on a monthly and quarterly basis
Analyze trends in commodity spends, lead times and suppliers
Complete time sensitive ad-hoc requests for multiple managers while balancing monthly and quarterly tasks
Collaborate with other teams and departments on projects and troubleshooting issues
Identify favourable prices and terms on purchases for parts
Physical Demands, duties of this position are varied and will include:
Duties of this position are performed in a normal office with exposure to manufacturing environments.
Duties may require extended periods of sitting and sustained visual concentration on a computer
monitor or on numbers and other detailed data
Repetitive manual movements are frequently required (e.g. data entry, using a computer mouse, using a calculator, etc.).

Experience: No formal experience required.
Education: Currently enrolled in a University internship program and have completed their 3rd year of studies. This role is ideal for students who enrolled in a Business or Engineering program.
