DePuy Synthes Companies of Johnson & Johnson is seeking a Systems Launch Manager who will lead supply chain systems activities related to launching new products as part of our TECA (Trauma, Extremities, CMF, and Animal Health) franchise. This position will be located in West Chester, PA, USA, or Zuchwil, Switzerland.

The person filling this role will join the DePuy Synthes Supply Chain Product Management (SCPM) team. We use our knowledge of project management, enterprise-wide supply chains, and manufacturing operations to function as an integral member of development teams. We are dedicated to creating sustainable, best-in-class supply chains to support critical product launches. In this role, you will use your knowledge of program management, supply chain systems, data analytics, and change leadership to orchestrate the systems set-up and systems change efforts for new product launches. You will demonstrate strong program management capabilities and use your expertise to drive end to end value, collaborating heavily with Marketing, Planning, Master Data, and other partners. You will design and develop optimized strategies for managing complex global systems changes and lead teams through master data set-up processes, ensuring strong accountability. You will lead standardization and process improvement efforts for systems set-up, delivering an enhanced experience for project team members and improved time to market for our global customers. Assignments will typically be of high complexity and impact to the organization.

The responsibilities & the impact YOU will have:
Leading the generation and maintenance of NPI Product Code master data within supply chain systems (PLM, ERP, etc) across the NPI portfolio

Orchestrating cross-functionally to collect and update relevant project and product code data on an established cadence driving adherence to supply chain readiness process ensuring strong functional accountability

Developing and/or maintaining systems set-up standard work processes, working cross-functionally to establish work instructions/job aids/RACIs where required

Establishing and leading a dedicated continuous improvement program with the goal to optimize systems set-up processes for NPIs

Leading NPI readiness activities for large global systems programs and changes, giving input to optimize implementation, crafting strategies to minimize impact, and communicating proactively to our project teams

Strong communications to partners across multiple levels of the organization


We would love to hear from YOU, if you have:
A minimum of a Bachelor’s degree is required with a focus in engineering, science, supply chain management, or business preferred. MS or MBA preferred.

Lean/Six Sigma and/or Project Management/PMP/FPX certification(s) preferred

A minimum of eight (8) years of work experience in supply chain, data management, planning, or project management functions in a regulated industry is required

Experience leading projects is required

Experience leading cross-functional teams is required

Previous experience with systems set-up activities, including interaction with ERP systems (e.g. JDE, SAP) and PLM systems (e.g. Windchill, Agile) is required

Proven ability to successfully lead large complex programs is required

Strong communication and management influencing skills is required

Medical Device/Pharmaceutical/Consumer Healthcare/Life Sciences experience is preferred

This position will be located in West Chester, PA, USA, or Zuchwil, Switzerland, and may require up to 20% Domestic and International travel.
