Location: 5920 MacLeod Trail SW, Calgary, Alberta (hybrid)
Type: Full-time, Permanent
Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:15 am to 4:30 pm, flexibility required
Salary: $56,000-$64,000 per year
Position Summary:
Reporting to the Director, Human Resources and working in partnership with all members of Intercare’s Corporate and Site Leadership teams, the Talent Acquisition Specialist (TAS) will provide professional and timely customer service and recruitment support to potential and current employees of Intercare. The Talent Acquisition Specialist will lead in the delivery of full cycle recruitment, and other various HR-related functions. The individual will support both the Director, HR and the AVP, Administration & Corporate Services in promoting and executing staff retention practices, assisting in the execution of applicable HR strategies and objectives, and the overall promotion of Intercare, while adhering to the core commitments.
Role Responsibilities:
Accountable for full cycle Recruitment for specific portfolio as assigned, including job postings and sourcing, review/screening of applicant resumes, conducting interviews and extending job offers;
Source a robust applicant pipeline through advertising, job postings, attending career fairs, and promotion of open positions at partner institutions and on social media platforms;
Ensure compliance with HR-related policies and processes for employees, including forms, reference checks, background checks, new hire paperwork, etc.;
Maintain accurate and detailed interview tracking, time to fill, new hire and any other required tracking;
Ensure all new hires have a successful and welcoming initial onboarding, including scheduling of orientations, and delivering training information to new hires;
Conduct new hire onboarding check-ins as required;
Build positive working relationships with leaders across all sites;
Responsible for administrative tasks as assigned;
Provide input on organization-wide specific initiatives and projects;
Provide assistance and support to HR team with the delivery of a high level of customer service and innovative ideas and suggestions to strengthen and improve our offerings.
Qualifications/Skills/Job Requirements:
Diploma in Human Resources or a Bachelor’s degree in related discipline with courses in Human Resources.
A minimum of three (3) years dedicated talent acquisition experience.
A combination of education and experience may be considered.
A passion for recruitment/talent acquisition
CPHR / CHRP candidate preferred
Self-starter- demonstrated initiative
Customer service driven.
Strong communication skills (verbal, non-verbal, and written).
Advanced problem solving, decision making, conflict resolution, and facilitation skills.
Demonstrated flexibility, organizational and time management skills.
Ability to work independently and also to function effectively as a member of a team.
Strong computer skills.
