Nights Salary – £25,642

Nights Shift – Continuously rotating 3 on, 3 off pattern (12 hour shifts that start at 19:00 and end at 07:00)

We are currently looking to recruit to a number of fixed-term roles that we have here at the Jacobs Bakery site in Aintree.

The key requirements of these roles will be to work effectively with others within a team consisting of Team Managers, Engineers and Team Members, who together possess all of the necessary skills to produce high quality products on an hour-by-hour basis.

The successful applicants will have the ability to perform different roles across process and packaging areas. The role requires proactive individuals with real ‘can do’ attitudes, who are committed to maintaining high standards we set ourselves whilst working as part of a dynamic team.

Key Responsibilities

The successful candidates will become skilled team members whose areas of responsibilities will be to:

Control and operate a variety of complex processes and equipment to the highest standards of safety and quality

Ensure the efficient and safe operation of different equipment

Ensure the smooth operation of process equipment

Achieve planned output within specification

Maximise plant efficiency and to minimise turn of scale and waste

Ensure housekeeping and hygiene standards are maintained

Develop line skills in line with company best practice

Support the team and wider business in the introduction and implementation of any improvement initiatives

Provide a strong and coordinated link with all production processes on the line

Start dates for these roles will be as soon as possible, with being on a fixed-term basis until 30th November 2020.
