The Role

As the Digital Products, Technical Project Manager, you will organize and empower the Digital Operations team in its mission to deliver efficient solutions and excellent support for our runners and internal customers. Energized by a dynamic workload in which no two days are the same, you will remove obstacles and prioritize opportunities to maximize the team’s results. In this role, you will coordinate with other product and project managers to facilitate technical development, fulfill business objectives, and troubleshoot operational difficulties.

Responsibilities:

Manage feature prioritization and planning for the Digital Operations team.

Plan and schedule project timelines and identify when each task will be performed along with task interdependencies.

Develop project team meeting cadence including organizing and leading project kick-off and project status meetings.

Evaluate and triage unplanned support needs for the Digital Operations team.

Conduct discovery of new systems, regularly reassess existing systems in the architecture, and make recommendations for adoption of new technologies and/or enhancements to existing systems.

Produce and refine technical documentation of team-owned systems, procedures, and processes.

Drive the progress of projects through to delivery of technical business objectives with internal and external partners.

Monitor / measure team KPIs and capacity against a dynamic workload.

Align team deliverables with development workstreams and the larger Digital Products roadmap.

Continuously improve team capacity estimation, workflow, and throughput.

Ensure all project documents are safely archived after project completion.

Qualifications:

5+ years experience in project / product / program management in the technology space, or participation on an Agile software development team in a technical capacity

BA/BS in Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology, Systems Administration, or a related field, or equivalent work / military experience.

Strong understanding of Agile & DevOps principles and the software development life cycle
