The Telematics Sales Operations position provides a deep Telematic product understanding and focus in the support of our sales and Solutions Consultant team. They will work closely with our product development team to stay on the cutting edge of our product enhancements, leveraging this knowledge as they work with customers to understand their business needs and bridging the gap between those needs and our solutions.
Latham, New York
Provides a deep, focused understanding of Telematics solutions to the sales department
Demonstrates our solutions to customers both onsite and remote
Builds and maintains the demonstration database and other demo resources
Is the technical resource for all Telematics products for RFP responses
Comfortable and polished in public speaking and technical presentations
Works with the marketing department to provide the latest Telematic information to prospects and clients
Works with Tyler’s sales professionals to receive the essential information to assemble pricing and use established tools and processes to verify the accuracy of the information
Uses software tools to determine the proper components required for sales proposals
Communicates with contracted installers (and potentially other suppliers) to receive pricing for projects
Assists in providing sales teams with accurate Telematics cost proposals
Performs other job-related duties, responsibilities and special projects, as assigned
Clearly and accurately demonstrate Tyler’s solutions to prospective clients.
Comfortable and polished public speaking in the delivery of technical presentations
Self-motivated with the ability to work with minimal supervision
Strong organizational and time management skills
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
Ability to work in a multi-functional team environment
Ability to work successfully in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
Ability to handle confidential information
Ability to multi-task
3+ years of sales related experience
Proficiency with MS Office software, including Word, PowerPoint and Excel
An understanding of vehicles and in-vehicle technology
Familiarity with mobile products and related technologies
